PayPal and Online Software Purchase      Number of views: 3016
Hi, one week ago, I wanted to buy a software to unlock my ex-IPhone 3GS (3G S) version from a affiliate of SWREG, Inc. (remember the name :) ) by a site ( or any other, just stick with the "IPhone DEV TEAM(", and there were some sites that sells this software for $30+, anyway, I wanted to secure myself and pay through PayPal, so, if the software wasn't as described I would have my money back, and when I payed to them, I found a link to a free software which is EVEN doesn't the job :) ( I HAVE GOT SCAMMED ), really, I was blown up, but, that's life, so, I went quickly to my dispute center at PayPal's site, and I raised a claim to get my money back, but, few days later I have received this:

"We have completed our investigation of this case. No further action is required by you at this time. We have denied this claim. As stated in our User Agreement, PayPal's Buyer Complaint Policy only applies to the shipment of goods, not to disputes about the attributes or quality of the goods received. We have noted your claim in the seller's record. The seller's account privileges will be limited if excessive complaints are received."

so, it is clearly stated that NO SOFTWARE purchase by PayPal, so, you can get screwed and no one will help you regarding this, and you viola you lost your money like what happened to me,

I'm very sad for this situation and I lost my $30, so, I hope that someone reads this post and do not ever buy software from any vendor unless you are 10000000000000000% sure :)
